Alaska Tent and Tarp awnings have many uses

• An insulated cover for a piece of machinery can dramatically improve cold starting performance or significantly reduce pre-heat times. They also help to keep out dirt and moisture.
• We custom make covers for all kinds of applications, both indoors and out.
• Some uses for insulated covers: sub-zero emergency generator covers, emergency response trailers, pump cover for cold weather, covers for video cameras / webcams with heating inside, accordion shaped insulated walkway, to be stretched between buildings, propane bottle covers, etc.
• Typical construction include flame retardant low temp arctic vinyl cover, with Reflectix™ insulation inside and a Bo Tuff mesh inner lining.

Tips for Ordering Your Insulated Cover

• If you can bring what you want covered to our shop, that is ideal. Then we can easily customize a cover for your application. If this isn't possible, we can work from pictures and dimensions of the item to be covered. In some complicated cases, a pattern of the item made from a blue tarp or visqueen may be needed.
• Think about the application: where it will be located? Will it be inside or out? Will it be exposed to the weather or covered by a roof. Will it be in the wind? Will the material need to be fire retardant? The more we know about your application, the better will be the job we can do for you.
• Bring the picture, your dimensions, and ideas on usage to our Fairbanks or Anchorage shop, and we'll show you some designs. We will recommend something based on your application and show you some options. Sorry.....we are unable to ship awnings. We have MANY fabrics available.
